Residential Renovation Project - Under Construction
Belgium – 2025
This project involved the energetic renovation of a 1960s residential dwelling, bringing it up to contemporary standards while preserving its original character. The roof, basement, and windows were fully upgraded to improve performance and comply with current regulations.
The interior was completely stripped and reconfigured. A new spatial layout was introduced, including a custom-designed kitchen, two bathrooms, and an additional room created through the strategic reorganization of the staircase.
Special attention was given to detailing, resulting in a refined interior language that gives the dwelling a contemporary yet timeless atmosphere.
The design approach is rooted in warm modernism, with subtle references to the building’s 1960s origins, expressed through a palette of warm minimalism that complements the architecture’s original identity.
