THE odd ONE OUT

Residential project - Office

Schoten, Belgium - 2019

This energetic renovation, situated near the 'Kempisch' Canal, was build up out of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). In the centre of the project we incorporated a winter garden. The underlying void brings the natural light down into the heart of the building. By organising the living spaces on the first floor, we created views on the canal. The downstairs spaces such as the bedroom and work space are organised around a patio, which gives them a more secluded atmosphere.

For this project we had the amazing opportunity to work with interior designer "THE odd ONE OUT'. This is her home and she really was invaluable to the project. We loved working with her.
