Garden Pavilion Project – Under Construction
Deurne – 2026
The project involves the renovation and partial demolition of a former bakery site, with the ambition of reconnecting two previously separated gardens into one coherent landscape experience.
At the heart of the project lies a pavilion conceived as a spatial connector between both outdoor areas. When fully opened, the sliding windows transform the pavilion into an open canopy, creating a seamless transition between the gardens and reinforcing the relationship between architecture and landscape.
The pavilion functions as a flexible multifunctional space for the residents, adaptable to different uses throughout the year.
In close collaboration with a landscape architect, the garden design was developed as an integral part of the architectural concept. A natural swimming pond and fully permeable terraces enhance the ecological quality of the project while adding a distinct atmosphere and refinement to the outdoor environment.
